GET TO KNOW EMILY
I started working in the mental health field in 2005, and after a short time knew that this is where I was meant to be. I achieved my graduate degree in 2010 and was licensed thereafter. While I work with a wide variety of people, from a wide variety of backgrounds, my specialty is treating anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder.
I'm passionate, energetic, and highly motivated. I have found success most often with those who are open to changing their thinking, shifting perspectives, and exploring their personal potential. I use humor and creativity in care while also recognizing the seriousness of difficult circumstances. I work with a variety of community providers and have seen firsthand the benefit of building a strong support team be it family members, doctors, naturopaths, spiritual leaders and/or friends.
Every day I am honored and grateful to work with the individuals who choose to come to therapy, and am always open to growing and meeting even more.
If part of you is curious about if therapy is right - just give a call. I'm happy to help you in finding the right path, whatever that might be.
Best,
Emily (she/her)
